Leah McCrum has been in the insurance industry since 2001 and brings more than 20 years of experience helping businesses navigate their insurance needs.
A graduate of the University of North Florida, Leah began her career with an internship at First Coast News before discovering that her ability to research, troubleshoot and solve complex problems translated remarkably well to the insurance industry. She joined the agency shortly after graduation and ultimately became an owner of what is now NJC Insurance Inc.
Today, Leah specializes in commercial insurance, working with businesses of all types and sizes. Her experience includes General Liability, Commercial Property, Workers’ Compensation, Business Auto, Commercial Umbrella, Professional Liability, Inland Marine, Bonds and other specialized business coverages.
As an independent agent, Leah works with multiple insurance carriers to help clients evaluate their options and find coverage that fits the unique needs of their business. She particularly enjoys the problem-solving side of insurance — tackling difficult risks, finding solutions and helping business owners understand exactly what they’re purchasing and why they need it.

For Leah, insurance has always been about more than policies and premiums. She believes clients deserve an experienced agent who knows their business, responds when they need help and remains involved long after a policy is written.
Many NJC clients have been with the agency for decades, and those long-standing relationships are something Leah takes tremendous pride in.
Technology has changed the way NJC does business, but not the way Leah believes clients should be treated. Whether a client prefers to call, text or email, the goal remains the same: make insurance easier, provide knowledgeable guidance and be there when it matters.
